Stellate, a leader
in clinical neurophysiology is currently in search of a Customer Support Clinical Specialist Level I.
stellate designs and manufactures industry leading diagnostic and monitoring
applications for eeg, seizure monitoring and sleep disorders.
This position
requires a high degree of technical ability, a strong focus on customer
Satisfaction and an emphasis on attention to detail.
Responsibilities
This
role supports the technical and clinical support team, who answers questions
and offer necessary technical support for product-related issues to a variety
of clients. Typical duties include:

Answer
customers’ telephone calls and email messages in order to offer them the
necessary support for product-related questions and requests.
·
Provide
on-call availability for after-business hours
technical support as needed.
·
Test
returned equipment to determine appropriate action.
·
Document
all pertinent information related to technical support in accordance to ISO,
GMP and CE standards.
·
Independently
perform the installation of the customers’ equipment and customer training.
·
Test
new products prior to shipment.
·
Assume
responsibility for trouble-shooting and repair of customer equipment.
·
Keep
abreast of product developments (software technology and equipment).
·
Assists
in training new personnel and distributors.
·
Provide
support to colleagues as required.
Qualifications
You
must have a minimum 1 year experience as a technician for EEG or Sleep labs, along
with good knowledge of digital EEG systems. You must feel confident to learn
new skills quickly and easily as required. You must demonstrate strong
technical ability and able to assist and train colleagues in this skill, as
well as aptitude to problem solving.
We
require the following technical skills:

DEC
EPM in Electrophysiology, or CBRET or RPSGT certification
·
Experience
in PSG, EEG an asset
·
Adept
at manipulating digital and analog recording equipment
·
Excellent
Computer knowledge
·
Troubleshoot
Systems with ease
·
Good
understanding of networking
·
Ability
to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel
This
position requires frequent traveling.
You
must have excellent communication skills and bilingualism (English and French)
is a must. Previous experience of working in a similar role is definitely an
